Letters to Baby: Week 10

Dear baby,

Hello in there!  I’ve been feeling pretty good this week.  Maybe it’s because we told the world about your existence! Everyone knows that we are expecting you next year.  I wore a shirt to work for Halloween to announce to everyone that you’re in there.  I am a mommy for Halloween 🙂  YAY! We don’t have to keep it a secret any longer.  It was beginning to get kind of hard to hold it all in.  We are just so excited about you that we really wanted everyone to know as soon as we found out, but we decided to wait a little while.  You’re doing just fine in there despite what the previous doctor said.  Such a blessing!  I’m rubbing my belly daily as if I’m saying hello to you.  Your Dad is doing the same and even Simba likes to snuggle up close to my belly.  I’m going to capture some photos of him doing that one day.  So cute and sweet.

I’m feeling a lot more tired lately.  It seems that I can never get enough rest no matter what time I go to sleep. I also have some super weird dreams now that tend to make me wake up.  Sometimes I don’t remember the dreams exactly because they are just THAT weird.  I had a few dreams that you were a boy, but I’ve also had a dream where you were a girl.  I wonder what you are?  We should find out in a month or so. Making you is hard work!  Some people are like why are you so tired?  Uhm, helloooo, I’m busy making a HUMAN!  My body is going through a whole lot of changes, but it’s okay because in the end I get to have you.  It’s pretty amazing how fast you’re growing now.  You are going to start doubling in size and you’re even swallowing and kicking around in there.  Wow, so amazing.  It seems like I’m getting a little bump now.  Daddy is going to start taking pictures of me weekly so we can see how my bump grows and so we can show you one day.
