Do you love finding good deals on kids clothing? I know I do! One of my goals this year is to save my coins as much as possible. Shopping at my local thrift store more often will help with that goal. There are two local thrift stores that I visit on a regular basis that have gently used clothes. Some of the clothes I’ve found have even been brand new with the tag still on it! I’ve been amazed at just what I’ve found in thrift stores. I find so many gems that I just keep on going back and do most of my shopping for the kids there.
When I was younger, I wouldn’t be caught dead buying clothes from a thrift store. You know…young and dumb, BUT my mom didn’t EVER go in any thrift stores like this! There isn’t any junk in these stores and I be all up in ’em, ooookay! No shame. You don’t have to do any digging to find nice clothes. All the clothes are bomb! That’s the kind of thrift stores I like. Classy, LOL. The hubs can always find some gems in the ones that just carry any old thing though so I’m not knocking those!
When I went into the thrift store for the first time this year, it was just my luck the store was having a sale! The price on all clothing was the lowest price on the tag. This was awesome news. I was able to get the girls several pairs of jeans, shirts, active wear, and shoes for around $55. Some of the brands we scooped up are Levi’, GAP Kids, Sperry, and the Children’s Place just to name a few. I wish I coudl’ve found my youngest more, but looks like the moms beat me at grabbing all the awesome toddler clothing!

Find a thrift store near you with gently used kids clothing and you’ll save money on kid’s clothes! I promise you that you’ll be wondering why you haven’t been thrift shopping for the kids sooner. They grow so fast so thrift shopping for kids really help.
