Becoming a big sister is so exciting! Being pregnant with my baby girl feels as if it was just yesterday. I remember exactly how the hubs and I told her she was going to be a big sister. We had no idea how she was going to react, but she was super happy! She couldn’t wait to finally meet her. We told her with a book that was all about being a big sister. She loved the book and wanted us to read it over and over again. The book was read over and over again and each time she had the hugest smile on her face. She said she was going to be the best big sister ever and she is!

It’s a very easy read full of rhyming with beautiful colorful illustrations. This is a great gift to give to a new big sister who is patiently awaiting the arrival of her new sibling. It shows how important the title of big sister is. Not only is it a good book for a brand new sister, but for a sister that has held the title for a while as well.
Our 7 year old thought that this was a fun read and she was able to reminisce about when she first became a big sis. She loved how the family looked so similar to us and how she felt the same as the big sister in the book. The sister in the book was an awesome sibling to her and she loved the fact that she was the big sister of the year. Our 2 year old absolutely loved the illustrations. Pointing at the different characters in the book. She was able to identify who each character was and really enjoyed flipping through the pages herself.
