Today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day!
According to DressUpYourPet.com, “National Dress Up Your Pet Day was founded in 2009 by Celebrity Pet Lifestyle Expert and Animal Behaviorist, Colleen Paige, as a fun way to celebrate our beloved pets and to support the pet fashion community.”
Woop woop! Let’s celebrate! As you all know Simba doesn’t mind at all wearing dog clothes. He is quite used to it now at this point. Would you like to dress up your pet sometimes, but don’t know where to start? Check out our tips on how to get your dog to like wearing clothes by clicking here. Sometimes it’s good for our pets to wear clothes because of the weather. It’s not ALL BAD like some people try to make it out to be. As long as the clothing isn’t uncomfortable and won’t be on for an extremely long time…then I don’t see the big deal. Basically, if your pet absolutely hates wearing clothes then just don’t make him wear them unless it’s for his benefit. I really don’t like when people bad mouth other people that dress up their pet, but whatevs. I KNOW Simba doesn’t hate it and so that’s all that really matters to me and that’s all that should matter to you about you and your pet. Have fun dressing up your pet if she doesn’t mind.

We are a house divided – I would love to dress up my cats, but Geoff is very opposed and I give in. Then I remember that Scooter shot under the bed for a week when I put a collar on her. Talking about getting the message!
