My dog is greedy. The greediest dog I know. Greedy McGreedster. No, I’m not exaggerating. He is truly greedy, but it’s ok because I don’t let him over eat or anything…this is just a known trait of is. It truly surprises me because he’s so tiny, but boy can he eat. It doesn’t matter if he has just ate or not if he sees you eating he thinks you should be sharing it with him. If Simba hears a bag opening or the pantry door opening he will stop dead in his tracks. His ears perk up and he gives me the “FEED ME” stare. Simba being a greedy dog works in my favor though and sometimes I tend to forget that he will work for dog treats!
Oh yeah, don’t mind me calling him greedy because he doesn’t mind. Simba knows I love him to pieces greediness and all LOL.

We are new homeowners without a fence which can be quite the pain at times with Simba. This is a pain because sometimes he doesn’t listen very well when I let him outside to handle his business. I can tell him over and over again to come back in the house, but he will act like he doesn’t hear me and continue to stroll and smell everything in his path. Sometimes he will even try to venture in the neighbors yard, but we hurry and get him back in our own yard. One day I had an “AH HA” moment! MY DOG WILL WORK FOR DOG TREATS! Why don’t I just use dog treats as a reward to teach him to come right back in the house after he handles his business? DUH!
Each morning before I go to work I let Simba outside while I stand at the door or at the patio and when he comes back on his own I give him a dog treat and tell him what a good boy he is. He REALLY likes that so he has been doing it consistently and I like it! Having dog treats around makes my life so much easier. Simba is not a picky dog at all…remember he’s greedy. I haven’t found one dog treat that he doesn’t like. He will learn new tricks, take awesome photos, and listen to my commands for a lil’ something to snack on. The new dog graphic tee that I bought for him is absolutely perfect. He’s all about his dog treats or any food for that matter. That’s my Sim-Sim!
