Letters to Baby: Week 22

Dear baby,

How are you in there?  You sure are moving a lot in there my little wiggle worm!  I feel your presence more and more each day and I love it!  Last weekend we were able to visit your grandparents, Auntie, and cousins.  We had a lot of fun and I got to relax which was awesome.  Your Auntie and your grandma cooked some good ol’ food!  I’m sure you enjoyed it too as you can now taste the things that I eat.  Grandma cooked an amazing breakfast and she also cooked bbq chicken, cornbread, and corn which was awesooome!  Your Auntie cooked cubed steak, rice and gravy, cornbread, and mac n cheese.  I had a cook free weekend thanks to them!

An amazing thing happened this weekend…you kicked, punched, or moved pretty hard!  We were watching a movie with the fam and I was stretched out on the couch and BAM I felt you.  At 10:20 PM on January 18th, I grabbed your daddy’s hand and placed it where I felt your movement and seconds later he felt you as well.  You should have saw the look on his face…it was priceless!  He pushed down some more and talked to you and you did it a couple of more times.  It was great!  I’m glad he finally REALLY got to feel you.  Now we are just waiting to SEE the movement from the outside.  I think that’s going to be kind of creepy, but cool at the same time.

Your papa is so amazed by how much bigger my stomach is every single time he sees me.  If he is amazed now he is probably going to faint when the third trimester hits huh?  My body type is pretty petite so my belly is probably gonna be pretty huge soon.  I’m sure I will be a sight to see!  It seems that these months are still just a zooming by to me.  I feel like we just found out we were expecting you a little while ago, but here I am  SIX MONTHS pregnant already!  We only have THREE more months to go.  Crazy right!?  See you in a couple of months my hunny bunny!
