Fashion Friday: Minnie in Manhattan

Happy Fashion Friday!  Today we are featuring our furiend Minnie!

Minnie is a one and a half year old Morkie from Manhattan.  She turns 2 years old in April.  A Morkie is a hybrid dog which means she is a Yorkie and Maltese mix.  Minnie loves to wear dog clothes.  Minnie prefers to lounge in cozy  sweaters, especially in the colder months.  At first look you might think that Minnie is a girly girl, but don’t get it twisted she’s actually not.  She loves to romp around and act bigger than she really is.

She isn’t afraid to get her hair messed up or her clothes dirty!  She doesn’t like girly dresses and prefers more laid-back clothing.  In the Summer, she likes to sport tanks and tee shirts with peace signs or catchy phrases.  She’s a New Yorker, so even though she prefers to go casual, she still struts in style.

She’s definitely strutting in that snow!  Work it girl! We are loving this photo!

Minnie and her mom shop at Petco a lot because of convenience, but they just discovered a website called BaxterBoo.com and they have a huge selection of dog clothing, dog accessories, and more.  The best part is that (unlike so many other dog-wear sites) your order ships out the same day you place it!

Minnie loves other pets as well as people. She takes pride in her city and tries to get involved in as much as she can.  She regularly attends events that take place at local pet boutiques in NYC and has even tried her luck in several pet fashion shows.  Last fall, she participated in a 3k care walk benefiting the LUNGevity Foundation, which was a great experience!  She even finished the entire walk on her own!
