Country Boy and Loving It!

Hi!  It’s Simba and I’m taking over the blog today.  Mommy added a new category to the blog named “Simba Speaks” which is where I’ll share stories about me from my point of view! I hope you enjoy them 🙂  You can also follow my Tumblr where I do ALL the blogging there.

I totally have to fill you in on my trip out in the country with my doggie friends!  I’m sorry I’m so late on telling you all about my wonderful dog adventure, but I’ve been so busy lately having fun with my sissy and other family that I just didn’t find the time to sit down and borrow mom’s computer to do a little blogging.  So here goes!

I really enjoy going to the country where I can roam free!  Roaming free means no leash for me which feels so pawsome!  I love getting all dirty and smelling all kinds of smells out in the big open space that I have when I visit my dad’s house where he used to grow up!  I even get a little carried away sometimes and don’t wanna listen to humans because I wanna do what I wanna do!  I am getting better at listening when I’m outside off the leash now though so no worries!

I look super happy right? Boy was I!  I couldn’t wait to see Gracie and Scrappy Doo!  They are two of the coolest dogs I know.  They really know how to take me on an adventure.

Let me introduce you to the gang!

This here is Gracie, isn’t she beautiful?  Totally my first puppy crush.

 

This here is Gracie’s son, Scrappy Doo!  He can be a tad bit annoying sometimes because he’s always following me around, woofing a million questions at me, and always, always, ALWAYS wants to play (such a youngin), but he’s a great pal!

 

Me and the gang have tons of fun.  We run, we play, we wrestle, we sniff our surroundings, we sniff each other, and we rest!  We do everything together and are pretty much inseparable when we get together!  We love being dogs and doing doggie things!  Sorry humans, but being a dog is amazing!

As you can see I stay super duper happy when I’m outside!  I love the great outdoors.

I’m such a gentleman.  I shared my water with Gracie!  She can have whatever she likes 🙂  She’s the one that I got my first puppy kiss from!  Ahh, puppy love.

We ran around ALL day long! I sure was tired from my full day of activity.

As you can see, Gracie was tired as well and decided to relax a little.

Scrappy Doo and I were dog tired!

Since we were all lounging around near the end of the day, mommy decided it was a great opportunity to snap a few pics of us dogs with my sissy!  Of course Scrappy Doo didn’t stay still long enough to make an appearance.

None of us were paying attention to mommy, but I like the picture anyways!

Isn’t it cute that they have the same expression on their faces!? Hehe.

I think she was tickled by my wet doggies kisses, muah!

Guess where I’m going again this weekend? Yup, back to the country!  We are celebrating two very important birthdays so I wouldn’t miss it for the world!  Stay tuned for my next adventure!
