Valentine’s Day is a fun day to celebrate! I love my daughter dearly and I’m a new mom so of course we had to celebrate her very FIRST Valentine’s Day in some way. Yes, we should love our loved ones EVERY DAY and of course I do, but I see nothing wrong with celebrating that love on a holiday and having some fun with it. It’s FUN! Some people are Valentine’s Day scrooges whether they have a Valentine or not, sheesh! I love to love so Valentine’s Day is fine with me.
If you’re wondering how to celebrate your baby’s first Valentine’s Day next check out how we celebrated baby’s first Valentine’s Day below.
How I Celebrated My Baby’s First Valentine’s Day
She dressed the part!
Her godmother bought her an adorable onesie that says “My First Valentine’s Day” She looked absolutely adoooorable. This is now one of my favorite pictures of her. Look at her facial expression? Adorbs!

Daddy bought her a Valentine’s Day gift!
We don’t feed baby candy of course so she didn’t get any Valentine’s Day chocolates, but she did get a nice new stuffed animal to play with (and drool all over).

A Mini Valentine’s Day Photo Shoot
We had a mini Valentine’s Day photo shoot and when I say mini….I mean MINI. She was not very cooperative with the photos on Valentine’s Day. She’s super active now and doesn’t want to stay in one spot for too long so you have to be super quick to capture a moment wit her these days! My husband managed to capture some shots of her with her sister. I just love the sisterly love!

Valentine’s Day Dinner
We went out to eat as a family and baby girl enjoyed every minute of it. She has started to eat some table food and she is really enjoying trying new things. It seems like she loves everything that she tries. I don’t think she will be picky at all. She enjoyed some baked potato, rice, and rolls.
Valentine’s Day Card for Mommy & Daddy
This was the sweetest thing ever! I so wasn’t expecting a Valentine’s Day card from my baby love, but she made one for me at daycare. It’s the cutest! It has her hand print and footprint on it. It’s a very nice keepsake and I’m glad she had help to make something so precious.

Oh my goodness, she is SO SWEET! I miss dressing my babies up for holidays.
The cuteness is unreal!!! *heart eyes* Honestly February 14th has a lot of significance in my son’s life so we’ve always commemorated it but not for Valentine’s Day. It’s the day I had my ultrasound and found out about his medical issues, so we typically celebrate his life on Feb 14th. <3
What a gorgeous family you have! My favorite are the gifts/crafts with their little hands and feet!
Love the pics! It’s so memorable to celebrate all the firsts!
Is that a little footprint?? Omg too cute!
She’s adorable… and that little footprint – so sweet!
She’s a cutie pie. (Although we get our sons a little something now that they are older, I don’t think that I did anything special for either of their first Valentine’s Day.)
What a beautiful family! Makes me a little sad I didn’t do more to document my little ones first holidays. Great ideas to pass along to some expecting mommas I know. Thank you!
