VetIQ Minties and Skin & Coat Product Review

Who likes bad doggie breath?   We definitely don’t!  We brush Simba’s teeth daily and use dental dog treats to keep his breath under control.  No one wants a smelly dog mouth in their face!  We were delighted when we were asked to review the VetIQ Minties Dental Treats because we love keeping our dog’s breath as fresh as possible.  We love dog dental treats.  We received some VetIQ dog goodies in return for a fair and honest review.

Simba couldn’t wait to get his paws on the Minties dog treats.  He absolutely loves to taste test.  He’s an awesome taste tester and gets excited whenever I have a new bag of goodies for him to try out. When he hears the sound of a new bag being opened he hurries to see exactly what it is.  He gets to sniffing and can’t wait to taste it.  Simba is always ready to let his pals know what’s hot in the doggie streets!  Minties is one of them!  Minties is a dog dental treat that you absolutely must try.

Simba gives it a minty fresh smile and four paws up as he jumped up for joy!  When I first opened the bag you can smell all the minty goodness inside.  The treats smell really minty and fresh and after Simba finishes eating one, his breath smells just like it!  The fresh breath lasts for a good while.  Say “hasta la vista bebé” to bad doggy breath!

We tried the “tiny” size Minites dental dog treats.  Simba is between 8-10 lbs and the tiny Minties are for dogs that are between 3-9lbs.  It is the perfect size for Simba and fits perfectly between his paws.  He has a nice firm grip and he chews away on it. The unique shape and texture of the Minties help to scrub the teeth to get them clean, get the breath fresh, and get rid of all of that nasty tartar accumulation and control plaque.

Simba had no problem eating a skin & coat dog chew.  After he finished eating one he wanted another one right away, but I only let him have one a day as the bag suggests for his size.
