That’s Pinteresting: Valentine’s Day Fun Ideas for Your Dog

Hi guys!  Simba here…I’m taking over the blog for today and I might even take it over for a little while tomorrow so stay tuned.

Valentine’s Day is TOMORROW!  What are ya gonna do with ya Valentine (your dog not your human Valentine silly) for Valentine’s Day?  Don’t have a clue?  No worries!  I have a few ideas for ya with help from my mommy and sissy!  These ideas are pretty simple and quick if you’re slackin!  If you’re on top of things, good for you!  You can save these ideas for next year!

1.  Make ya Dog a Valentine’s Day Doggie Gift Basket
You could totally fill up a cute little basket with Valentine Day themed dog treats, dog toys, and mores!  I think this is a pretty simple way to show your dog how much you love ’em on Valentine’s Day.

2.  Write ya Dog a Valentine’s Day Letter
If ya dog is as smart as me, I’m sure he can read!  But even if he can’t you can write it and read it to him in that cutesy doggie talk voice you make.  I’m sure it will get his tail waggin!

3.  Make ya Dog a Valentine’s Day Card with the Kiddies
Dogs love the kids!  Help your lil’ human make a dog Valentine out of colorful construction paper and hang it on the fridge!  Ya dog loves getting attention from the kiddies…trust me!

4.  Make ya Own Doggie Treats
Bake some Valentine heart shaped dog biscuits or bake a heart shaped dog cake.  Make sure you use ingredients that are safe for dogs!  You wouldn’t want your dog to get sick on Valentine’s Day!  That’s no fun.

5.  Pamper your Dog at the Dog Spa
If your dog likes the whole grooming thing, take her to get pampered on Valentine’s Day!  I’m sure some of my boy doggies don’t wanna do that kind of a thing though so don’t give them a dog spa day as a gift, just saying!

I am not amused.

6.  Have a Dog Date
Take your dog on a play date with another dog!  I bet the boy dog spa haters are liking this option better 😉  I’m sure he and she will have lots of fun playing together.  Maybe they will even become Valentine’s!  Aww, so sweet.
