Dogs are such wonderful animals. I love everything about being a dog owner and at a very young age I always knew that I wanted a dog of my own when I was older. I grew up with a beautiful black Labrador Retriever. He was the best dog a girl could ask for. My father also really loved the dog as well. They had such an amazing friendship and it was cool to see them interact with each other. The quote “a dog is a man’s best friend” definitely rang true.

Dogs can teach us a lot of things especially about friendship and loyalty. Dogs are the most loyal animals I have ever been around. They are always right there whenever you need them. My dog can read my emotions and he’s always there to cheer me up or just keep me company. He was there for me throughout my pregnancy which was the cutest thing ever. He would follow me around everywhere and act as my protector. He would be right there whenever I would make thousands of trips to the restroom because of the baby being all up on my bladder or because I wasn’t feeling well. He even showed love to my unborn child by laying his head on my belly as if he knew there was a new person coming to our family very soon.
has a wonderful campaign called “” where they will be showing a series of inspirational and touching short films that feature dog owners just like you and me who have learned awesome things from their dogs when they may have been going through a difficult time in their life. It’s so amazing how much we can learn from dogs and it’s awesome that Pedigree has put together this campaign to display that.
Dan Lasko, a wounded warrior who has a service dog, is the first dog owner featured in . The service dog Wally taught him that “everything is going to be alright.” He helped Dan with his PTSD and made him confident about his leg when out in public. It’s a super amazing story and it will really touch you. A dog can really show us how to be there for others. They have such good hearts and they display their love with such ease. Awesome work Pedigree! I am loving the Learn From Dog series so far.

I loved my dog when I had him for all of the same reasons, but I wouldn’t get another one. At least not right now. It’s like having a baby that never grows up! lol I’m not yet ready for that.Kudos for Pedigree for creating such a wonderful campaign

Great photos, great campaign!
There’s no doubt pets give more than they require and I’m always surprised (and a little sad) when I hear about kids growing up without pets. What I wish, though, is that there’s less need for support animals like this and more need for pets.
Nice campaign and videos. Love your photos!
Really great campaign and photos. I love the heartwarming stories of how dogs make a difference (we do the TV series about that).
