As for me and my house and obviously, yours too because you’re reading this…we allow baby to have some fun with educational or sing-songy/nursery rhyme baby shows.

Best Shows for Babies
Baby boy has enjoyed music since he was in my belly. Music is also helpful to get baby to sleep when nothing else seems to be working. So it’s no surprise that he loves baby shows with soothing nursery rhymes or baby songs that he can clap his little hands to. We hope your baby enjoys these shows as much as mine does!
Cocomelon
This is the show that your baby will get excited about just from the signature Cocomelon sound! Don’t believe me? Go check out the #cocomelonchallenge on TikTok! This is probably one of the top shows for babies. Each episode is filled with learning from numbers to letters to just plain ol’ nursery rhymes.
The songs are catchy and will get stuck in your head. Remember those nursery rhymes you sang as a child? I bet Cocomelon covered it! You’ll be doing a lot of reminiscing with this baby show. Unfortunately, there’s only 1 season of Cocomelon on Netflix, but it’s enough to keep baby entertained, besides, baby won’t mind if you just restart the episode again I promise.
However, if 1 season with only 3 episodes isn’t enough for you, Cocomelon has a whole YouTube channel you can check out. They are the OGs of children channels on YouTube. There are TONS of baby videos for your viewing pleasure on their YouTube channel. Click HERE to see for yourself.
Little Baby Bum
Here’s a tip, if you select “more like this” on Netflix you’ll get a list of shows for babies that are like the one you are currently watching. You’re welcome! With that being said, Little Baby Bum is basically just like Cocomelon and that’s how I found it. Little Baby Bum has 3 series currently on Netflix.
It’s filled with nursery rhymes that you’ve heard before and a lot of original nursery rhymes too. They also have a YouTube channel and it’s one of the biggest children channels on YouTube. Click HERE to see even more of Little Baby Bum on YouTube.
Loo Loo Kids
If you ever heard of “Johnny Johnny, Yes Papa”, you probably saw the Loo Loo Kids version because it has billions of views on YouTube! Loo Loo Kids is filled with nursery rhymes that kids love and parents love to hate…LOL. No, but seriously though, your baby will be entertained. Johnny and friends will take your baby on musical adventures that I’m sure he’ll enjoy!
Chu Chu TV
Another show for babies filled with nursery rhymes that will keep your baby clapping and dancing. Babies can never have enough nursery rhymes, I promise! Chu Chu TV also has original songs as well.
Mother Goose Club
OMG, more nursery rhymes? What can I say, babies, love nursery rhymes! It’s because they are so simple, catchy, and easy to learn. Hear me out though, the Mother Goose Club is all of your classic nursery rhymes, but with a twist.
It’s not just cartoon characters, there are actual people in costumes singing and dancing. There are also kids of the Mother Goose Club that join in on the fun.
That’s all of the nursery rhyme baby shows I promise! But you’ll thank me later even if you think that’s way too many nursery song shows! Netflix only has a few episodes of each show I mentioned above so it’s really not much. Besides, babies can’t get enough of nursery rhymes, watch and learn.
Word Party
Word Party is a Netflix original series that is about baby animals who love to sing while teaching your child all about vocabulary. Isn’t that a win! I thought you’d love that. This show is created by Jim Henson, so if you love the Muppet Babies, you are in for a treat!
Motown Magic
Last but certainly not least, your baby will absolutely love the Netflix original, Motown Magic! You may think this is only for toddlers and up, but I promise your baby will vibe with this too. You will hear plenty of Motown hits in the series which will introduce your baby to songs you love in a fun way. Motown magic is all about a young child with a huge imagination that uses a magic paintbrush to bring street art in Motown to life. We love it!
