Disclaimer: I am NOT a doctor. I am just explaining my birth control experience. Please talk to your doctor if you have any questions about your birth control.
Dun, dun, duuuuuun! Can you get pregnant while on the pill? I’ve heard of people getting pregnant while on the pill via Google and people that I know as well so it can definitely happen! I take my birth control at the same time every day and to make sure that I do that I set a recurring alarm on my phone that reminds me because otherwise I would totally forget. I still had a pregnancy scare a couple of weeks ago. I kept feeling nauseous just like I was when I was pregnant. I didn’t know what to think. I was kind of freaking out because I just had my daughter in May of this year and I am definitely not trying to conceive! I want to wait until Joia is at least two or three before becoming pregnant again.

It’s crazy that something used to prevent pregnancy can cause the same signs of being pregnant! Some of the same symptoms of your period are also like pregnancy symptoms as well. It’s very easy to become paranoid and think that you’re pregnant again. To be sure, just grab a pregnancy test to ease your mind. If you’ve been taking your birth control the same time every day and haven’t missed a dose and all of that jazz then you are probably in the clear. You never know though…nothing is 100% unless you’re not having sex at all right? LOL.
Also did you know that other things can interfere with birth control? For example, antibiotics can interfere with the strength of the birth control pill. If you are getting on any form of medication while taking birth control it is best to let your doctor know that you are on the pill.
