Simba got his paws on another dog subscription box called PawPals With Annie!  He loves not knowing what’s in the box exactly, but knowing it’s something especially for him!  I love getting surprises for him as well.  I love giving him new dog products to try and see how his reaction is.  Simba liked that there is a dog bone on top of the box which really gave it away that the dog gift box was just for him!

What is PawPals With Annie?
What is PawPals and who is this Annie character you speak of?  That’s what you want to know right?  Well, first things first  PawPals With Annie is the ONLY doggie approved gift box subscription!  Annie is a fun-loving blonde Scottie in Savannah Georgia!  She picks out her favorite premium dog toys, treats, and goodies to send to her PawPal friends.  Yes, SHE picks them out.  Isn’t that cool?  How does she do it?  Annie teams up with her dog pack to ‘paw’ select the goodies she sends to make sure that every dog goodie is perfect for any dog, no matter its breed or size.

How Does PawPals With Annie Work?
There are three different types of dog gift boxes that you can choose from which are small, medium, and large.  This is based off the size of your dog.  Once you figure out the size of the dog gift box you want to get for your dog you will determine how many months you’d like to get the dog subscription box for.  You can choose from 1, 3, or 6 months.  You will share the deets about your dog so that Annie can personalize the dog gift box as best she can to your specific dog.  Gift boxes are shipped every Tuesday.  PawPals With Annie is really big on being different from the rest of the dog subscription boxes out there.  They do NOT auto-renew!  Auto-renew can definitely be a pain in the paw so this is awesome!  You don’t have to worry about cancelling and if you want to keep getting the box you would simply just sign up again.  Every gift box is personalized specifically for your dog and the items in the box are handpicked by a dog!  Who would know a dog better than a dog?  They also package each box with premium, all natural, well made toys, treats, and goodies.  Have more questions?  Check out their FAQ’s here.

What’s Inside the PawPals With Annie Small Dog Gift Box?
I chose the small dog gift box for Simba because he is around 10 lbs.  Small dog gift boxes are for dogs that weigh 20lbs and under.  The price for a dog subscription box for 1 month is $32.95 for a small dog.  Simba received 5 dog items in his box ranging from dog toys to dog treats.  There is even a lovely personalized note inside the box.  So cute!

Nature’s Recipe Oven Baked Chewy Treats Lamb Recipe
These chewy dog treats are made with real lamb, carrots, and apple!  No corn, wheat, artificial colors, or flavors are in the ingredients.  According to Nature’s Recipe, you should be prepared for a lot of tail wagging when you open up a bag of these dog treats!  I think they are definitely right about that because Simba’s tail went to wagging when I opened up the bag and let him take a whiff of what was inside.  These are great training dog treats and they are even soft enough so that you can break them apart to give a smaller portion while dog training.  I liked dog treats that I can break up with ease because that makes them last longer.  I’m sure Simba doesn’t like that though…so greedy!

Nylabone Healthy Edibles Roast Beef Flavor
This healthy dog chew is an alternative to traditional rawhide.  The Nylabone dog bone chew is so healthy and yummy because it is natural with added vitamins and minerals and it’s a roast beef flavor.  It is made with a gluten-free formula and it is completely edible and digestible.  There are no artificial preservatives, salt, added plastic, or sugar. It’s also made in the USA which is always good to know!

Kong Frog Medium Dog Toy
The Kong frog dog toy is made out of plush so the material feels really good and soft.  It’s also made out of quality non-toxic materials.  There is no stuffing inside of this dog toy so you don’t have to worry about your dog ripping it apart and taking all of the stuffing out!  You can enclose a squeaker inside if you’d like and if the squeaker gets lost or stops working you can just buy a replaceable squeaker and stick it right inside.

The JW squeaksters rhino dog toy is a squeaky dog toy that is made out of flexible vinyl for medium chewers.  JW squeaky dog toys come in all kinds of shapes and sizes.  It is certified non-toxic.  It is a dog toy that is meant to be chewed, carried, and squeaked.  If your dog loves squeaky toys he will love this or if you need something to get your dog’s attention for a photo for example this toy is perfect!

Multipet Loofa Dog Head 
This Multipet dog toy is made of ultra soft crinkly and flat plush.  It feels great!  It also makes a crackling/crunch type of sound if you scrunch it up or if your dog chews on it.

Does My Dog Like PawPals With Annie?
Simba loves his PawPals With Annie dog subscription box and I did too!  He enjoyed eating or playing with everything in the box so Annie did a good job personalizing the box specifically for Simba.  His favorite thing in the box would have to be the Nature’s Recipe dog treats.  Nature’s Recipe is actually the dog food he eats so it wasn’t a surprise that he would love the dog treats.  He also enjoyed chewing on the Nylabone dog chew and was able to break a piece off to eat before I put it away for the night.

Simba’s favorite toy in the box had to be the Kong frog.  He seems to love soft dog toys that squeak and are easy to sling around like a rag doll.  He really enjoyed playing with that.  The squeaker rhino didn’t really capture him right off the bat, but it did grab his attention a lot when I squeaked it so I used it to take some photos for this blog post!  He liked the Multipet loofa dog head because it’s super soft and makes a the crinkle noise.

We love to get surprises and the fact that it is personalized just for Simba makes the surprise even that much better! Simba has never had any of the dog items that were in the box so everything he tried was new to him which was awesome.  He loves to test out new things!  Also some of the things that were included in the dog subscription box…I would have probably never bought like some of the toys for example, but now I know other types of toys that he enjoys. Overall we really enjoyed receiving the PawPals With Annie dog gift box.  It is definitely different from any dog subscription box service we have seen so far.  Go Annie for personally picking the toys for dogs of all breeds and sizes!
