Dear baby,
Hello my love. Time is winding down! Tomorrow we will only have exactly 5 more weeks to go! It could be less or it could be more…it depends all on when you’re ready. A lot of May babies seem to be coming in April though. I don’t mind you staying put a little while longer even though you move all around like you’re trying to get out of there on the regular. The midwife said it’s great that you’re so active. Next week, I’ll be seeing the midwife every single week until you get here. It’s getting REAL!
The baby shower was absolutely wonderful! The bestie, your auntie, and cousin did a great job putting everything together. The decorations were lovely and we had a lot of fun seeing everyone. We are so blessed! Everyone showered you with so many goodies. We have all of the big things that you need which is awesome. I am so thankful for everyone’s gifts. One of my BFF Toya traveled all the way from Maryland to shower you with gifts. She’s an amazing friend and she can’t wait to meet you. She loves you already too! She’s thinking about moving here so hopefully she does and you get to see her on a regular basis. She’s a character and I’m sure she will have you smiling and giggling.
This week was an awesome week. Mommy’s birthday was this week! Your daddy surprised me with a very thoughtful gift which is a charm bracelet that has the charm “mom” on it. I love it! It’s such a sweet gift and I can’t wait to add a charm with your name on it or one that symbolizes you. Your daddy also took some maternity photos of us on my birthday. They turned out really great. I love your daddy so much! I can’t wait to see you two together.
