Dear baby,
You’re doing all kinds of moves in there now! You are sooo active! Jordyn is so amazed at your movement. She loves to feel you move around and see it too. She was super shocked this week because your kicks and moves are VERY strong now. You pretty much startled her when she felt it…it was pretty funny, but she had the biggest smile on her face after that. She can’t wait to see you! She doesn’t let me forget how much she wants to see you and she wants to see you NOW! Your daddy loves to see and feel you move as well especially when he can just speak to you and you move. It makes him feel really special when he talks to you and you start moving. He put on some lullaby music the other night for you that he found on YouTube and you started moving all around and then you stopped and we all fell asleep. That was some good lullaby music…we are going to have to keep that on deck! We will have to play it for you more often since you like it now and you will love it when you are actually here. Speaking of your daddy, he’s been making moves in school and his future career. I am SO proud of him! He graduates from college the same month you are due, MAY! He doesn’t have much longer at all until the last day of class. He has 5 weeks of class left to be exact. I know he can’t wait to finish and I can’t wait for him to either. He has been working very hard and his GPA definitely proves that. Yay for daddy!
This week you’re the size of a pineapple! Wow! According to The Bump app that means you’re around 15.2-16.7 in and 2.5-2.8lbs. You have major brain and nerve development going on in there and eye development too. All of your five senses are working now too which is amazing. It’s so cool to know how much you develop each week and how I can feel that you’re steady growing in there. I love you to pieces my baby love! Since I’m further along now it’s getting pretty uncomfortable and other symptoms are starting to show up like braxton hicks and leg cramps! Those leg cramps are no joke! One totally woke me out of my sleep, but your daddy had no idea of course because he was fast asleep as usual. Unbothered. LOL! I bought you your first pair of shoes the other day. They were just so cute AND on sale! I picked them up and put them back several times, but I just couldn’t resist and had to get them for you. I can’t wait to see your little feet in them. Your Auntie Gwen has been buying you things when she is supposed to go in the store and get something for herself, but ends up getting something for you instead. Isn’t that sweet?
Your grandparents (my mom and dad) along with other helpful family and friends put together a baby shower for us! Everything was beautiful and everything turned out very nice. We are very thankful for them and we really appreciate all the gifts and love that we received. We were definitely showered with love. You are so spoiled already! You have tons of clothes so we definitely don’t need to buy you anymore. You also received some diapers, wipes, and other things that will definitely come in handy once you’re here. Everyone is so excited for your arrival! We had so much fun at the baby shower. It was awesome! The baby shower made it that much more real that you are really about to be here soon! OH MY GOD…I’m going to be a MOMMY! How AWESOME is that?
