Dear baby,
I have been tired as ever! I don’t even know what not tired feels like anymore, but anything for you my love! I’ll deal with the uncomfortableness of trying to sleep at night and thousands of trips to the bathroom. Only for you my love…only for you! Your kicks are still getting pretty strong too. You seem to be extremely active in the wee hours of the morning now. I know this because our neighbors dogs aren’t helping much with sleep because they have started barking around 4AM in the morning and it’s really getting on my nerves! They need to take some tips from Simba. He doesn’t bark unless someone is at the door or something. Speaking of Simba, he is really loving my belly these days. He can’t get enough of plopping his head on top of it or putting his paw on my belly because he sees me or daddy doing it. It’s the cutest thing!
Saturday I will be 30 weeks! It’s getting more real every week to how close it is to the time where you will be here. Your grandma said I came a week early…I wonder if you will come early, right on time, or come late? Hmmm. This weekend your daddy and I will be going to a Childbirth Blitz class that is offered for free by the hospital we are having you at. I think it’s pretty cool that they have all of these free classes to prepare us for your arrival. I’m all new to this unlike your daddy you know so I’m trying to learn as much as I can before you get here! Hopefully the whole mommy thing is natural to me and I don’t freak out! We are going to learn all about the support role, nutrition, exercise, stages of labor, breathing and comfort techniques, pain management options, what to expect at the hospital, cesarean sections, and adjusting to life with you! We will also be given a tour of the BirthPlace. Yay! This should be fun and informative! You aren’t moving around much right now…I think my lunch gave you the itis because it definitely gave it to me! Unfortunately, I can’t take a nap like you right now. Lucky you!
