Dear baby,
Hello there my baby love. As the weeks countdown I’m getting more and more excited about your arrival. It kind of seems unreal…like I’m really growing a little human! It’s so amazing how God made our bodies work. You’re developing more fat and your lungs are more mature now so if you were born right now your chance of surviving is great. I’m not rushing you at all though! Keep on growing big and strong in there…40 weeks is just fine with me. At least that’s what I’m saying now. I’m sure the closer I get to 40 weeks the faster I’m gonna want you up out of there! You’re already moving around like crazy so when there is hardly any more space in there for you to move around I’m sure you’re going to want to get out of there and I’m gonna want you out too!
Daddy is still so amazed at your movement and how often you’re moving. One night he wrapped his arm around my belly while I was sleeping and you kicking like crazy in there, but I was sound asleep. I guess I’m so used to you moving around all day that it doesn’t really bother me at all when I’m sleeping. Your daddy thinks that mothers are so amazing because he would totally freak out trying to sleep and a little human was moving all around in his belly!
The doctor’s appointment went great today. You are doing just fine and your heart is still super strong. I had to drink a sugary drink today for a glucose test to make sure I don’t have gestational diabetes. The drink wasn’t that bad at all. I mean, I wouldn’t go buy the drink, but it wasn’t disgusting like most people tried to make it seem. After I drank the drink you were really wiggling around and you kept at it for the rest of the day and night. I guess you didn’t think the drink was that bad either huh? We get to see the midwife every two weeks now and then eventually every week and then you’ll be here! Only 11 weeks to go starting tomorrow…YES the countdown is on baby!
