Dear Baby,
Hi little one! I just found out about you last week. I am so excited that you will be here next year. I’m praying that the pregnancy goes smoothly and that you’re a healthy baby. I knew you were in my tummy before I even took a pregnancy test. I felt nauseous and tired all of a sudden and I kept cramping off and on. I thought I was crazy when I kept getting negative results, but I just knew you had to be in there and I just had to give it time. I was so ready to be a mom that I was being very impatient, but when I finally found out that all the symptoms I was having really meant you were really there, I was beyond excited and kind of in shock. It feels so unreal to know that you’re forming in there.
We have only told a select few people that you’re coming soon and it’s really hard not to shout it out to the entire world because we’re so excited that you are a part of our family. I know it’s going to be really hard for our family and best friends to keep quiet as well. I wonder if anybody is going to slip up. I guess we will see. We recorded everyone’s reaction when we told them all about you. Everyone is so excited for your arrival. You are loved by so many already. I even think Simba can sense that you’re in there. He curls up close to my tummy or puts his head there. It’s so cute! He loves our honey bunny so I know he’ll love you to pieces too and be very protective over you.
I’ve been wondering what nickname I’m going to call you since I have no clue if you’re a boy or a girl yet. My daddy used to call me “woota woota” or his “woota-bear”. I thought that name was so embarrassing, but not when he said it to me. I only found it embarrassing if a cousin tried to call me that as a way to pick at me…how rude! Now that I’m older, I actually think the name is pretty cute and would fit perfectly for you too! You’re my lil’ woota and I can’t wait to meet you! I love you bunches already!
Love, mommy
