Letters to Baby: Week 16

Dear baby,

Hi Joia!  Guess who came back today? Yup, your big sis!  When she walked into her room she was pleasantly surprised at all of the changes we made.  You and her will be sharing rooms when you’re not sleeping in mommy and daddy’s room anymore.  Half of the room is yours and half is hers.  When she saw the room she thought it was just the best thing ever!  She said it was amazing and she loved it.  She’s so cute.  Daddy and I asked her if she would mind if you were a boy or a girl and she said she’d be happy if you were a boy or a girl.  She’s such a big girl!  When we opened the box up at the gender reveal and all of the pink balloons popped up, she was so happy and excited!

She loves the pink teddy bear with your heartbeat inside.  She keeps squeezing the bear over and over so that she can hear your heartbeat.  How cute is that?  We are all so ready to meet you!  I found out that you can now hear my voice!  How amazing is that?  I was already talking to you before I even knew you could hear me, but now that I know for sure you can hear me it feels so awesome. It’s cool to know you’ll recognize my voice at birth. Wow! I talk to you everyday and so does your daddy.  We are going to start playing some music for you soon!

The 2nd gender reveal party was a success!  It was kind of more hectic because we had a time limit and everything since we were at a restaurant, but everything turned out lovely.  Now, we are tired from today’s festivities and I’m going to chill with your daddy and your sissy and then get some rest.
