A Letter to My Dog on Valentine’s Day

Dear Simby (cutesy name for Simba),

You are the best doggie Valentine I’ve ever had.  I love how you love me at all times no matter what.  You definitely are a girl’s best friend.  I love how you know when I’m not in the best of moods and can cheer me up instantly.  You make my heart smile.  I love how you come and cuddle with me and paw at my hand until I give you tons of belly rubs.  You’re so adorable and sweet.  You hate to see me leave and you love seeing me come through the door after a long day at work.  You are always truly excited to see me and I truly appreciate it.  You’re so full of energy and silly too!  You’re such a clown so you definitely know how to make me laugh.  You act like a little human sometimes and it seems like you truly understand me.

I’m glad you chose me the day I met you.  We’ve almost had you for a few years now and we’ve loved each other more and more each day.  I hope to have several more years with you in my life.  Thank you for your unconditional love and the constant cuddles.  Thanks for being an awesome younger brother to Jordyn and a big brother to Joia.  You play with them whenever they want and we appreciate it. Thanks for being patient and posing for a million pictures.  Also thanks for being an awesome furkid to Jordy and I.  Thanks for being YOU!  We love you bunches and that will never ever change!
