Happy Four Year Blogiversary!

Happy 4th blogiversary to me!  As of May 21st, I have been blogging about Simba and my life for 4 years.   I can’t believe it has been 4 years already.  I remember it like it was yesterday when I made my first blog post on WordPress.com.   I made my first post as soon as I brought Simba home. My blog started as a hobby just to share my experiences as a new dog owner to Simba, but it has became so much more than that.  My blog is not just all things dog now, but all things dog AND mommy!  I have been given numerous opportunities to work with different brands and I’ve had fun sharing glimpses of my life with you all through blogging here and vlogging on our YouTube channel Meet The Chambers too!

I’ve learned so many things and have met some awesome people online in the process.  One awesome community that has given me that PUSH to become more serious about blogging is a Courage to Earn.  This community has so many amazing women in it and I’m thankful to be a part of it.  I’m glad that Brandi Riley of MamaKnowsItAll.com made this community for all of the courageous women out there.  I absolutely love her blog!  I have stepped up my blogging game due to being in that community and have learned some things as well.  You should definitely check out!  The BlogPaws community has made me step up my blogging game as well!  I am always glad to be apart of that community because it is the first blogging community that I became apart of and they are all awesome!  I’ve also just joined the Black Bloggers United community and I already feel the love.  I’m loving all of these blogging communities and it’s awesome that we can all support and learn from each other!

A LOT has happened in four years.  I’m married now, I have had a baby, and I have purchased my first home.  Blessings, on blessings, on blessings!  I am so thankful for everything  and I pray that everything continues to go up from here.  I’ve published 592 posts since 2012 and plan to publish many more.  My blog has finally had a blog makeover that I’ve been wanting since FOREVER and I’m still excited about it.  I’ve also been a lot more consistent as well and plan to keep that up!  I’m very proud of myself. With everything happening in my life, back to back, I still haven’t been able to get to a blog conference yet.  I told my husband that I definitely want to try and make it to the BlogPaws Conference and maybe one other blogging conference as well.  I was able to learn some things virtually at the Profitable Blogging Summit that was completely online and FREE.  I really enjoyed looking at the videos and even signed up for some of the free courses as well.  I’m all about learning as much as I can and putting it into use for my blog.

I appreciate all of the love and support from you guys.  My blog is continuing to grow and has become bigger than I have ever imagined.  Thanks for being interested in what I have to share with you all.  I plan to share so much more and I hope it is helpful and interesting to read.  Our survey is still available to give us your feedback.  Your feedback is very important to us so make sure you go to take the survey.  Thanks to everyone that has given your feedback already.  It is very helpful and can’t wait to put your feedback into use.  I also have a newsletter in the works so make sure you so you don’t miss it!  You will receive updates on Come Wag Along, tips, discounts, and be the first to know about giveaways.
