Fashion Friday: Bentley the Fashionisto

Happy Fashion Friday!  Today we are featuring our furiend Bentley!

Bentley is a six-year old Basset Hound.  He is such a great friend and always makes his pet parent laugh.  He will let her dress him in hats, shirts, capes, and is tolerant of all accessories.  Since he has short legs, she has trouble finding clothes that are a perfect fit.  He enjoys wearing capes, because they don’t have sleeves.  He looks spiffy in a tank top, but the armholes are usually too large.  His long velvety ears, brown puppy dog eyes, and adorable wrinkles make him look quite dashing in most clothes.  Bentley can really rock a hat.  He can wear a tie although bowties completely disappear under the skin under his chin.

Bentley’s mom was recently introduced to the clothes and accessories at Pawtini from another blog.  They have great sport jerseys and things that are perfect for a boy dog.  It will definitely be their new place to shop.  His mom totally thinks Bentley is a fashionsto, because he looks great in everything that he wears.  Basset Hounds make people smile if they are just wearing their fur.  Just look at him…aren’t you smiling? When you put clothes on Bentley, he becomes a magnet for human smiles, pets, and compliments.  He loves the attention.  Simba and I definitely think Bentley is a fashinisto!  He looks great in all of his dog clothes and he really does look like he enjoys having them on.  Go Bentley!

 

Bentley has a perfect number seven on his hip.  Ironically, he is also his mom’s seventh dog.  His unusual marking inspired her book series, The Returns.  How cool is that?  Without him, her storyline would never have developed.  If the books hadn’t been written, Barking from the Bayou wouldn’t exist.  Simply put, Bentley has completely changed her life for the better!  Wow Bentley you sure are one amazing dog!  Your dog mom definitely speaks quite highly of you.  We love it!
