Cleaning Tips for Pet Parents
No matter if you’re a new pet parent or an OG pet parent, pet messes are going to happen. It’s just part of having a pet. So here are some pet cleaning tips to make your life as a pet parent easier with Art of Green.
Pet Accidents on Hard Surfaces
My dog has potty accidents on my floor from time to time which is expected. Of course, it’s icky to clean up, but Art of Green wipes makes it super easy to get the mess up quickly. The wipes pick up messes and cut through the worst grime! Just grab a couple of wipes and wipe the mess from the hard surface and eliminate any bad odors.
Our pets walk on our floors all of the time. To keep those paws safe when you mop, just mix 2 ounces of Art of Green with a gallon of water and mop as usual.
Sanitize Dog Bowls and More
Speaking of grime, dog placemats can get yucky fast, but Art of Green wipes can get rid of the mess even quicker. The wipes get rid of the grime easily usually with just using one of the wipes which I think is amazing.
Don’t forget to clean those dog bowls often! Sometimes we can forget, but you wouldn’t use your bowl again without washing it right? Dog bowls should be cleaned every day. Also, you can sanitize the dog bowls in the dishwasher on the hottest setting once a week to get rid of bacteria.
You can also quickly wipe down your dog’s collar and leash with a handy dandy Art of Green wipe as well. I’m telling you these wipes really come in handy for a quick cleanup.
Cleaning a Dog Crate
Pet accidents can happen in the dog crate as well or it just needs to be cleaned every now and then. Simply spray crates with Art of Green from about 8 inches away. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe it all clean. I love that the scents linger and make the crate smell amazing for a while.
Spot-Check Pet Toys
Some dogs can be a little rough with toys and also get them pretty dirty. You should definitely spot-check dog toys every now and then to make sure there are no loose parts that can become a choking hazard. You also want to clean the toys often as well. To clean pet toys, spray with Art of Green (or just use an Art of Green cleaning wipe which is my fav), wipe clean with a rag, rinse with water and let dry.
Don’t put toys in the dishwasher unless the tag specifically states to: the hot water can cause loss of shape and structure making the toy fragile.
