I told my furiends over on my Instagram that I had some pawsome news! Well, here it is….Mommy’s engaged! Isn’t the ring beautiful!? I’ll let her tell you all the deets below. Yay, I love my humans. I better be in the wedding guys! I’d look doggone good! 🙂
Ok, so this Wordless Wednesday isn’t going to be very wordless! Yes, I’m engaged! I’m going to be a Mrs! The feeling is awesome and I’m so excited. My fiancé did a wonderful job picking out the ring which you can see better HERE. I think it is gorgeous! The engagement happened last Thursday night on August 29th. It totally took me by surprise because it was just so random to me, but that’s how it’s supposed to be right? He definitely surprised me. Was he romantic? Absolutely! This is how it all went down:
When he came home from work he asked me did I want to go and get some ice cream from Cold Stone with our friends Alissa and Josh and I said sure. I’m not even sure why I said sure because I was in the process of cleaning up and he needed to get his homework done (such a procrastinator haha). It all worked out though and I said yes so we got ready and met our friends at Cold Stone. When we got there our friends weren’t inside the store, but behind it so we started walking to back there. I’m like why are we going back here (totally not thinking about him proposing at all). I saw our friends taking pictures with their daughter and thought to myself “Oh, they are back here because it’s a nice scene to snap a few pictures”, but really that’s not why they were back there at all. They also asked the little one did she want to take pictures with their daughter so she was in on it too! Our friend Josh wasn’t even really taking pictures, but recording the whole entire time so that he could capture this special moment for us! Sneaky, sneaky! The scene is beautiful because there is a pond back there and a fountain that was shooting up water which was the perfect scene for my fiancé to propose! After they are finished pretending to take pictures my boyfriend grabs my hand and starts saying something, but I snatch my hand away (oops!) thinking he is playing because he is a clown! But he grabs it back and continues and tells me that he brought me to Cold Stone because it’s where we first met and he wanted to bring everything back full circle and then he said a bunch of other things that I can’t remember because I’m basically in shock at this point because I realize he is serious! So he gets down on one knee and takes out the ring and asked me to marry him. I put my hand over my mouth and of course I am crying now at this point and I say YES! So that’s how it happened! I think the proposal was romantic and very thoughtful. I love him! He’s the best. He will forever be my always!
* Thanks to my wonderful friends Alissa and Josh for helping Jordy make the proposal happen in such a cute way!
