Best Dog Movies Ever!

I’ve always loved movies with dogs in it as I’m a huge dog lover.  There are so many movies where a dog is the star that I absolutely love.  Making this dog movie list makes me want to cuddle up on the couch one weekend and watch a few of them and I just might.

Favorite Dog Movies

1. Hachi: A Dog’s Tale

   This move is just absolutely beautiful!  It really shows the bond that a dog has with his owner.  I had to grab the tissues!  You can read my full review on this movie HERE.

2. Lady and the Tramp

   Who doesn’t love a Disney movie with dogs in it?  This is a classic!  It’s a dog love story.  My kids haven’t seen this one so maybe I’ll introduce them to it this weekend.

3. Marley & Me

   Oh Marley! He really is something else.  I’m sure a lot of new dog owners can relate to this movie in some way.  It’s a hilarious and a heartwarming story.

4. Air Bud

   I so loved this movie as a kid!  I watched it sooo many times.  This is another that I will have to show the kiddies.  A dog that can play basketball?  How cool is that!

5. Homeward Bound

   This movie features a cat co-star!  I absolutely love the pet voice overs in this movie.  Some pets truly can’t stand the thought of being away from their owners and these pets go on one unforgettable journey to find their family!  A great movie for the family to watch.  This is another favorite of mine when I was a kid.
