Who is Baby Shark?

When you first heard baby shark, I’m sure you were thinking who is the baby shark and why do my kids keep singing about him? Well, if you thought the Family Finger song was annoying then watch out for this shark baby. I’m sure you’re familiar with the words: “Daddy finger, daddy finger, where are you? Here I am, here I am, how do you do?” Right?  Your child played it over and over and over and you used your mommy fingers to close your ears! The kiddo just couldn’t get enough of it right? Sorry to upset you, but there’s a shark family that moved in town now! The Baby Shark song is the New Family Finger song because kids just can’t get enough of it!

The song is by Pink Fong who makes fun and educational songs and videos for kids.  If your child watches YouTube Kids, I’m sure you’ve heard the song a time or two million!  But maybe you just didn’t know what it was that you were hearing.  It’s a super simple song that goes through each member of the shark baby’s family and what they’re doing.  There’s even a little Baby Shark dance that goes along with the song.  It’s very catchy, easy to learn, cute, and fun for kids! That’s why they love it so much.

Our kids love the Baby Shark dance! It’s super simple to learn and goes perfectly with the song.  The Baby Shark song has to be one of the most popular hand motion songs for toddlers. Our toddler sings and dances to this song at preschool and her ballet class!  All of the kids go crazy when this beat drops, okuuur!

If you search for Baby Shark Challenge on YouTube, you’ll see tons of kids and even parents doing the Baby Shark dance. Some are cute and others are hilarious!

I’m so here for an R&B Baby Shark version!  I love me some R&B so when I heard this Baby Shark R&B version it tickled me but also sounded so good! Parents, believe me, you won’t mind having this version on repeat!
