Words of affirmations for kids is a major key! Speaking positively about your kids and speaking positively in front of your kids is very important. I always want my kids to know that they matter and that they can do anything. Teaching my kids to speak things into existence is a must in my household.
That’s why I love affirmations for kids. Every morning my youngest daughter and I will repeat daily affirmations to get her day started. It truly helps her have a good day and she keeps the things she says in her mind as a reminder of how her day should be for her. I even whisper sweet little nothings in her ear about the things I love about her so she can learn to love herself and also use it as an affirmation.
Affirmations for Kids
Positive affirmations are a good way to start your child’s day. Daily affirmations will teach your child self-love, build confidence, reach goals, form positive habits, and more. Joia truly enjoys saying positive affirmations every single morning. It brings such a huge smile to her face and she is proud of herself for reciting them.
We share her affirmations almost daily on our Instagram stories. Make sure you’re @MeetTheChambers so you can see. See some of her morning affirmations and our positive quotes and positive memes by clicking HERE. Hopefully, she’ll put a smile on your face and encourage you to say affirmations with your kids.
How to Write Affirmations
Getting your child started with daily affirmations is so easy to do! Simply make up a few positive easy statements for them to repeat daily or even have your child make their own affirmations. Here are a few easy affirmations that I started with Joia when she was about 2 years old. It’s never too early to start saying affirmations or at least hearing them. The more your child says or hears the affirmations the easier it will be to do it on their own.
- I am blessed.
- I am beautiful.
- I am smart.
- I can do anything.
- I will have a good day.
Here’s Joia when she was about one and a half years old. I just asked her in question form “Are you beautiful? Are you smart? Are you going to have a good day?” She’d simply reply “Yes.” which is a good way to start affirmations with kids.
