5 Games to Play with Your Dog This Summer
Chasing Bubbles
Have you ever seen a dog try to chomp at bubbles you and the kids are blowing? Those bubbles may not be too safe for dogs, but how about bacon-scented bubbles for dogs? Yes, there is such a thing! These bubbles are totally safe for dogs and kids too! It’s 100% non toxic. I haven’t tried this yet with my dog, but I’m so going to! I recently came across a video of a dog chasing bubbles and trying to eat them and I thought it was so cute and hilarious. A dog chasing bubbles is such a fun activity to keep him busy. So if you have a super active dog or want your dog to be more active, I’m sure a bubble maker with bubbles for dogs will work nicely. And of course you don’t need a bubble maker, you can just blow the bubbles yourself, but a bubble maker would just make things so much more fun for your dog don’t you think?
Tug of War
Dog tug of war is such a classic game for dogs that will never go out of style! Dogs love to pull and shake things so getting your dog a tug of war dog toy for the Summer will be perfect! You can play tug of war with your dog with a regular ol’ rope toy or you can use the Tether Tug! The Tether Tug is so cool because you can use it outside or inside and your dog can play tug of war all by himself! Yep, your dog can keep himself busy with this one! Dog Obstacle Course
A sure way to keep your dog busy this Summer is by making your own dog obstacle course! This can be something totally simple or you can go all out and purchase a dog agility course set. Your dog will have so much fun going through dog tunnels and jumping over dog hurdles. It will definitely be helpful if your dog already knows some basic commands before playing this fun dog game.
Hide and Go Seek
Again, another fun Summer game classic is hide and go seek, but have you ever played it with your dog though? You can play hide and go seek in so many ways with your dog. You yourself can hide or you can hide things from your dog. Either way your dog will for sure have a blast! I think you should try hiding some dog treats and let your dog go sniff them out! Or maybe you can hide some dog toys around the yard and he brings them back to the spot you set for him. Fun right?
Dog Pool Fetch
If your dog likes water then playing fetch in a doggy pool is a must! Get some dog water toys to put inside of a dog pool and let your dog have at it! You can throw them in and watch him get them out or he can simply play with the dog water toys in the pool. He can have some fun in the water and also cool off in the dog pool at the same time. Win-win!
What are some games for dogs that you like to play?

I need to get those agility obstacles for my cats! I keep saying I’m going to make a pvc set but I never get around to it. I think Mocha would be an agility star. We tried catnip bubbles but they didn’t care for them.
Love these ideas … my little guy is slowing down due to age and a leg injury but he still tugs. Never liked water, though…
