Don’t you just love fun school projects that you get to help your child with? We had a fun school project to complete that was Thanksgiving-themed. Our mission was to disguise a turkey. Disguise a turkey you say? But why? The turkey is trying to avoid being dinner on Thanksgiving day!
This was a neat little kindergarten project and her dad and I was happy to help. We had a lot of ideas to disguise her turkey. It was kind of hard for her to decide what she wanted to disguise him as. She wanted to make sure the turkey was disguised really well!
What about a Christmas tree? A Christmas tree with lights and presents would surely hide the turkey right? You know kids are always ready for Christmas so once we came up with the Christmas tree idea there was no turning back!

We found all of the supplies we needed at Michael’s to disguise the turkey. Jordyn really wanted the turkey to be disguised so he didn’t become dinner soon! I helped find most of the supplies and Jordyn and her dad did all of the crafting.
This was really a fun project to do and her dad got really into helping her. It was so cute watching this daddy-daughter project! Mr. turkey is hidden so well! I bet you wouldn’t have known it was a turkey if I didn’t tell you huh? This is the best turkey in disguise I’ve seen…okay I’m biased, but they really did an awesome job!
