This weekend our Kindergartner had a fun school project to complete that was Thanksgiving themed. Our mission was to disguise a turkey. Disguise a turkey you say? But why? The turkey is trying to avoid being dinner on Thanksgiving day! This was a neat little kindergarten project and her dad and I were happy to help. We had a lot of ideas to disguise her turkey. We came up with a bunny rabbit, a ballerina, a snowman, or a Christmas tree. Jordyn is so ready for Christmas so I figured she would pick the Christmas tree and she did.
We found all of the supplies we needed at Michael’s to disguise the turkey. Jordyn really wanted the turkey to be disguised so he didn’t become dinner soon! I helped find most of the supplies and Jordyn and her dad did all of the crafting. This was really a fun project to do and her dad got really into helping her. It was so cute watching this daddy daughter project! Mr. turkey is hidden so well! I bet you wouldn’t have known it was a turkey if I didn’t tell you huh? This is the best turkey in disguise I’ve seen…okay I’m biased, but they really did an awesome job!
If you are looking for a fun Thanksgiving project to do with the kiddos this is a good one. Maybe you have to do the turkey in disguise project too and are looking for ideas? Pinterest has tons of turkey in disguise ideas and they are so creative. You are bound to find one you like if you have no idea what to disguise your turkey as. Have fun!
