I’m practically new to this whole mom thing so I take a million photos of my baby girl. If you go to my personal Instagram page you will notice that my profile is flooded with her photos. I can’t help it! I love to capture every moment and it doesn’t hurt that she is so photogenic. She is the perfect subject for me take photos of while I’m learning about photography in general and iPhone photography. Her big sister is the perfect model too. I love taking photos of both of my girls. Learning photography from the hubs has been fun. It’s fun to capture the moment, but it’s even more fun for the moment captured to look amazing.
These photos turned out super cute because she is just an awesome little model, but they would have been so much better with proper lighting. I am learning!
The new iPhone 7 has an amazing camera and I have recently started playing around with it. I love the depth effect feature that is new to the iPhone. The depth effect is found in portrait mode. It makes the subject really POP as the background of the picture is blurred. I really love that effect and it’s cool that something I always carry around has that feature. It’s awesome that I can pull out my phone and take a fancy picture as if it was a DSLR camera.
These two photos were taken by Jordy, the hubs. as you can see he captures photos way better than I do. Pets are also very great subjects when practicing photography.
All of the photos below are captured by me. I have way better lighting in the photos below so these photos came out pretty good.
For all of you parents out there…your kids are the perfect subjects for iPhone photography! You’re already probably snapping a million photos of your kids anyway just like me. Capture those memories while learning how to use the settings on your iPhone for some beautiful photos. I’m having fun learning iPhone photography and can’t wait to capture more moments of my family.
