I love dressing up my dog as many of you may know. Simba and I attended the BlogPaws conference and I wanted him to be the best dressed dog there! A lot of dogs get dressed up for the red carpet event especially, but some other fashionable dogs wore clothes throughout the conference. This was the perfect opportunity for Simba to show his style. Simba was able to have a photo shoot at the conference along with other fashionable dogs which was awesome! The photos my husband captured were perfect to use on his Instagram account (@RawrSimba).

Where Do I Buy My Dog’s Clothes?
A lot of people loved Simba’s dog outfits. Everyone was giving him so many compliments or wanted to take pictures of him or with him. So I definitely think I accomplished him being one of the best dressed dogs there. We were asked by many people where we shop for his clothes. I usually buy Simba’s dog clothes online from Amazon or Ebay. Everything he wore to the BlogPaws conference was from Amazon. Shopping at Amazon is always great because a lot of items can be purchased using Amazon Prime.
You can try the Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial if you’re interested. I suggest signing up for Amazon Prime if you’re going to shop on Amazon a lot because you can get FREE Two-Day Shipping on millions of items. It also comes with other things like being able to watch thousands of TV shows and movies instantly. You can also borrow kindle books and a lot more with a Prime membership so definitely check it out! We love it! I think it’s totally worth $99 a year. See all of our recommended dog clothes in our Amazon Shop by clicking HERE. Simba’s dog tux that he wore on the red carpet was by Alfie Pet. All of his other dog outfits were by Fitwarm. Both of these companies have dog clothes for females and males with a variety of selection like dog dresses, formal dog shirts, dog suits, dog pajamas and more. All of the dog clothes I ordered from both of these companies were great quality and super cute!
How to Pose a Dog for Pictures
Dressing up my dog for photos is a pretty simple task for us. Simba doesn’t mind wearing dog clothes at all especially when he gets treats. He’s pretty picture perfect too which helps. Simba knows several basic commands which makes taking photos of him a breeze. I have 4 tips for having the picture perfect dog that you can read HERE.
Dog Photo Shoot
Simba was the perfect gentleman during all of his mini photo shoots with other dogs at the BlogPaws Conference. JChambers Photography, my amazing husband, did an excellent job capturing all the fashionable dogs at the event. Here are my favorite photos from the dog photo shoot we had. Some of the photos are quick snapshots and others were posed. Enjoy!

I totally love all of your looks. I wish Eve would be better about dressing up! She will be at blogpaws next year, but will be pretty naked much of the time, lol!

Wow — I didn’t see all of his outfits at BlogPaws. He is quite the show stopper. You are a much better Amazon shopper than I am. Love the sweater with the button down!

Your husband got fantastic shots of Simba and his friends! He was definitely one of the best dressed dogs on the carpet in that gorgeous tux.

Simba is certainly a very dapper fella! 🙂 I love dressing Bruce Wayne up for events. At home, he’s pretty much naked all day, but for events, he’s always dressed. My favorite shop is @addiebrands (www.addiebrands.com). They’re actually having a huge sale now too. They always keep Bruce Wayne looking stylish.
I’ve also found FooFooFido on Etsy that I love! She totally blings Bruce Wayne out! 🙂

Simba’s outfits are darling. I usually don’t buy clothes off Amazon, I’ll have to take a look. I already have one outfit planned for next year!

These photos are SO ADORABLE!!! He really does wear a bowtie like a pro! Our former dog wore lots of bowties, too. Now we have Ruby and she doesn’t like stuff around her neck.

What ADORABLE photos!! SO HANDSOME your pup was – red carpet ready!
I would not do without having Amazon Prime! I LOVE it and it pays for itself and then some!
I need to get my Lyla some outfits – I do blog about fashion ( and pets and other things ) after all. She deserves to look pretty!
What a fun post – thank you for sharing a bite of your blog paws experience. 🙂

It certainly helps that Simba is so photogenic! He did look quite handsome in his outfits, a perfect gentleman. I am a big fan of Amazon Prime- the savings and fast delivery cannot be beat!

That looks quite fashionable. Though I’m not a proponent of putting anything on dogs they don’t need on. I always say we have an agreement with my dogs – I don’t dress them up and they don’t make me roll in deer poop.

He looked like a champ at the conference. I am attending next year and may bring my girl Sophie. She is about 53 pounds and it is not easy finding clothes for dogs that size. Unfortunately I can’t sew anything beyond basic buttons so we may be out of luck. But at least she’ll go and maybe make friends with Simba!

We don’t dress cats and gos up much in the UK, I think its a US thing isn’t it? I have seen some wonderful costumes from the gorgeous BlogPaws pictures though, People put a huge amount of effort into showing their dogs and cats at their best.
I can’t wait to see everyone in their finery at BlogPaws next year!.

These are wonderful photos! Simba looked great at the conference – I loved his red carpet look, but I really adore his preppy sweater look in these photos, he looks positively scrumptious!! I haven’t bought Phoebe or Icy clothing online, I’m a bit nervous about sizing. I usually buy them at a local pet store that carries really nice clothes for dogs & sometimes at PetSmart or Petco..

He’s so cute! He really does have the best shirts. Such a great look for him. Love the photos too!

Simba definitely knows how to dress to the 9s! I couldn’t believe how well dressed some of the dogs (and cats) were at BlogPaws! They dressed better than me.

Baby R.I.P. used to wear clothes all the time plus I knitted for her all her sweaters, Layla on the other hand hates clothing so have given up excluding raincoats for the winter.
I love the photographs and outfits – they all look so fancy and snazzy – thank you for making me smile 🙂 as I do miss it in some ways

Simba really knows how to work it! I love seeing your photos of him all dressed up. It was great meeting him in person at BlogPaws too. His red carpet outfit was perfect! Your dog has better fashion sense than I do. 🙂

Simba was definitely one of the best dressed male dogs! It’s always harder to get cute things for boys, 2 and four legged! That Dexter has some real competition for best dressed for sure. We aren’t in to dressing up much but it’s fun to look at the ones that do!
Beth says
It was such fun to meet all of you at BlogPaws. I always wondered where you got Simba’s clothes, he is one of the best-dressed dogs I’ve ever seen (in person and online!)

First, Simba looked fabulous at the conference! Second, I have to admit that I never used to dress up my dogs…until I got Piper! While my other two are labs with solid undercoats who don’t really need extra layers, Piper has a super smooth, very thin coat and came to Colorado from California in the middle of winter so I really had no choice! She had to have a coat, right?!? And, of course it was a slippery slope from there because she looks so cute in her coat (now multiple coats) and her tutu! My only issue is that it can often be tough to find pre-made outfits that fit her muscular frame. Any suggestions? She looks great in pink 😉

So, your mission of having Simba be the most fashionable at BP was a success (in my opinion)! He looked awesome every time I saw him and was super fashion forward! Seeing him each day was a special treat, that’s for sure! Yoda and Bean don’t mind wearing clothing providing it doesn’t impact their range of motion, which we would prefer didn’t happen anyway. I’ll be sure to check out some of the items you listed to see if we can add to our already too large collection!

Simba is definitely one well-dressed dog! I love the sweater and the bowtie outfit – so adorable! One of my cats, Sophie, doesn’t mind being dressed up. She wore a pretty pink dress on the BlogPaws red carpet 🙂
